Gary and Greta established IM Embroidery in 2004 as an adjunct to their marine import business which has been in operation since 1972.

Both opted for early retirement and did what any sane person would do--they went cruising on William Barron, their 44' cutter.  With two trans-Atlantic crossings already under their belts, they decided to spend two years cruising the south coast of England, Spain, Portugal, France and Italy before returnin home via the Canary Islands and the Caribbean.

As members of the Ocean Cruising Club since 1992, Gary and Greta serve as Port Officers for Norfolk, Virginia.  OCC members who visit Norfolk are always welcome.  Ideally situated at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay, Norfolk has everything a cruiser could wish for!

As cruisers, Gary and Greta understand the unique needs for those living on boats whether it's for a few hours or a lifetime.  They welcome the opportunity to serve your custom embroidered clothing and accessory needs through IM Embroidery.
